Here is a mid-1930s Parmak tombstone radio.  This is a battery radio, which I don't normally collect, but I was very interested in the oval shaped cabinet, which is somewhat rare.

The radio chassis is a little rusty, and the lacquer finish of the case is going to need a refinish.  The lacquer is quite literally flaking off in many places.  There are a few dings in the case which will need some attention as well.

I probably won't do much with the chassis, as battery radios aren't really my thing.  I mainly like the radio for the excellent cabinet.

The goal is to get this cabinet refinished this weekend, before it gets too cold to spray lacquer.  I think I can get this done..!
