Patterson 85AW: Getting Closer..
|
OK, here's the Patterson as it stands today. Looks about the same as last time, but there was some more work done. First, there was a spot on the top where the replacement veneer bubbled a little. I had to strip the finish off the top, fix that, and then re-spray the toned lacquer. It's much better now. I also sprayed the black trim on the bottom edge, and re-applied the block feet, which were also sprayed with black lacquer. The grille openings were sanded and painted in black with some paint. To top it off, a few more coats of clear lacquer. I need to wait a few weeks, and then I'll rub the finish out. Now, I need to order some grille cloth, and clean up the escutcheon. |
